Ben Blau is one of Michigan's best and most experienced recording engineers. Starting his career in 1983, he has worked in several studios with all aspects of music and recording technology. Ben's clients benefit not only from his vast expertise in recording, but also from his seemingly limitless knowledge of music, arranging, composition and performance. A veteran composer and keyboardist himself, Ben often contributes his musical talents to the projects he records -- from laying down a sweet keyboard part, to providing full-blown music tracks to back up a solo artist.
Ben is also one of the most (if not the most) experienced recording instructors in the Midwest. He has personally trained more recording engineers in the state of Michigan than anyone else in the last 15 years.
The author of five books on recording and music, Ben currently heads up the Recording Technology degree program at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan.
